How do I get the front gates to work?

Front Gate Entry Directions:

There are two options:

  1. Visitors may scroll up your name on the keypad using the * and the # keys. When the correct name is found press 0 to call. Your home telephone will ring.
  2. Visitors can also press * and then type in the 4-digit unit number. Visitors may enter this directly and your home telephone will ring.
When your home phone rings, if you wish to give your visitor entry, press 9 on your land-based home telephone and the visitors' FRONT gate will open.

You MUST give your home telephone number to Miami Management, Inc. to access this alternate gate-entry feature.

If you DO NOT want your name to appear on the front gate keypad, your name can be "hidden." Your name is linked to a your 4-digit unit number.

When using this "hidden name feature," your name will NOT appear so you will need to give your visitors your 4-digit number. Your home telephone number will ring and you can press 9 on your land-based telephone and the front visitors' gate will open. Remember this 4-digit feature rings directly into your home. If you misdial, you will ring your neighbors' homes. PLEASE CAUTION YOUR VISITORS TO USE EXTREME CARE WHEN DIALING SO AS NOT TO DISTURB YOUR NEIGHBORS.

Since the gates have been expanded commercial vehicles can now use the front gate. Commercial vehicles can obtain a code by registering with the "Vehicle Registrations Form" and faxing it to Miami Management, Inc. For your gate clicker, see Where do I get a clicker for the gates? below.

What are the fees?

The fees are $480.00 per year.

They are paid every month, $40.00 at a time.

They are due the first day of the month.
